Accessibilty gesture on iphone froze my phone screen?

I made a six second gesture in the accessibility option to be able to make a vine video without touching the screen, some blue button comes up on the screemn and whenever I try to touch something it won't respond. I locked my phone and it won't even let me slide the bar to unlock it. The screen just isn't working. What do I do? I don't want to reset my phone because then I think ill lose everything…

Hold down your home and lock button at the same time until the white apple logo comes up. This is basically just force restarting your iphone. You don't lose anything but your phone should work again. I've had to do it plenty of times before ^_^

  • IPhone 4 five finger lock screen gesture My girlfriends phone had this dark grey rounded square in the top left corner of her iPhone with a lighter grey circle in the middle, I clicked on the circle and it had options like Device, and Gestures. I clicked on Gestures and pressed 5-finger. It came up with 5 blue rings where, I assume, you should put your fingers but after doing this her touchscreen is unresponsive and she can't unlock or turn off her phone. How do I unlock her phone using this 5 finger gesture?
