After I downloaded iOS 6 the remote on my apple earbuds stopped working
I have an iPhone 4, the remote worked perfectly on iOS 5.1.1, then I updated to iOS 6 and it stopped working. And it isn't a matter of plugging it in or twisting it around.
I'm having the same problem. Tried the earphones in a friends ios5 iphone and they work fine.
Normally this is caused by a defect in the audio jack of the headphones or the audio port of the device. It is also possible that there's debris in the audio port blocking the connection. I have seen multiple people mention this issue after downloading iOS 6 so it may be a problem with the download. I recommend contacting Apple.
- My iPhones lock button stopped working. Will apple fix it? I don't have apple care and it just stopped working and it seems to be jammed. I have the iPhone 5
- My front camera stopped working after a drop? I dropped my iphone at a store and nothing broke on it but when I tried to take a selfie on snapcht the front camera won't open. What should I do
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- I have four pairs of apple iphones and all have them have stopped working? Every single one of them has stopped working so that I can only hear music in one earphone and not the other. I can't contact apple to complain because apparently you have to pay to do that! Do other non apple earphones work on an ipod? I don't want to pay like £25 for a set of earphones that is going to break in a week when I can pay £2.50 for a better pair that isn't apple.
