After replacing Iphone 4S screen, earpiece quiet?
I just replaced a good acquaintance's Iphone 4S screen.
Aside from the proximity sensor, his phone is working, but volume from the earpiece is apparently very low. He describes it as "soft and muffled."
The only reason I could understand it sounding muted
is I used normal cellophone tape to attach the recycled grill. If this is the issue, what would be the proper way to reattach it?
Any input would be appreciated.
I'm assuming it is a bluetooth earpiece.
Did you leave anything out that could have shielded the bluetooth module from the Wi-Fi chipset? In the all iPhones, each operate on 2.4Ghz and can cause interference. Have him try disabling Wi-Fi completely to check.
- Why when I connect my Iphone to my car the music is so quiet? I have a aux cable already connected to the stereo that I got the car, my friend plugged her iphone in the same one i have 4s and it worked fine it was not quiet at all, i plugged my iphone in and i have to have it on full volume just to make out the words on the song i was playing music of o2 tunes which is an app but when my friend did hers it worked fine does anyone know why or can i do something on the settings?

I've tried holding the power button and the home button to try to reboot, but it does not work. The phone seems to still be working normally other than the screen. My phone would not turn on its screen and it kept vibrating whenever I try to charge it. And the worse part of it i that its over heating. - No sound out of my iPhone 4s after broken earpiece lodged into earphone hole Ohkay. So I was at my neighbors house a couple weeks ago & one of their younger cousins took my iPhone 4s off the counter & tried to put a mini speaker in it. When she took the speakers back out, the part you insert in the iPhone broke off into my phone. I can't get it out so it won't play any music/sound out of my iPhone. What do I do? Is there any way that I can get it out? I have tried a lot & nothing seems to work.
