Alternatives to using electric to charge iphone?
I'm going travelling soon and i won't be able to use a electrical charger i was wondering if there any other alternatives
You can get a case now that clips on to your iphone. Thats an back-up battery. Not sure if that helps.
You can get wind up chargers and torches (flashlights if you're american) which have a charging connector for USB. I don't know how good they are, I suspect not very, but its the only thing I can think of other than extra batteries and charge them all up when ever you get the chance. Or even both.
You can get battery packs from places like Maplin that have a USB output to charge a phone: they generally if fully charged will give a couple of phone charges. Hand cranked wind up chargers are strictly emergency only. The other option is solar panels, again from Maplin or similar. If the phone will charge from a USB on a computer all these options will work, if it's something with a special charger like a early Nokia then it's more difficult
