Am I a hipster? If not what would you consider me?
I buy from mainstream places, but I also love thrift shopping! I love Aztec prints and I wear alot of plain shirts that I accesorisze. I make jewelry and bake. I don't use heat on my hair and don't wear my makeup. I love 2 door cinema club, Edward sharpe, fun, and the fratellis. I love kill bill, the sopranos, weeds the tv show, skins uk and the dark knight. I have a galexy iPhone case. I wear sperrys alot but I also love my converse. My friends are by no means hipsters, but am I one?
Perhaps a baby hipster.
If you have to ask if you're a hipster then you're obviously not one.
Hipster is a silly term for people who break their backs to find stuff to listen to or wear or believe in, even if it is total garbage, because nobody knows about it. You my friend sound like someone who lives life with out adhering to these rules of hipsterian life. The irony is that being a hipster has become such a common trend in some places, it too has become extremely mainstream. So in short, no, you are not in any way a hipster, and if you want to be, don't be, because not being a hipster and doing what you yourself want, as well as listening, and wearing what you want, is the closest thing to being a hipster that any single person could do.
Iphone? How mainstream and cliche
Sopranos is a good *** show.
But you sound like a typical white girl.
- Would you consider someone born in 1990 part of the Justin Bieber/iphone generation? Someone who is 22-23 now Would you say they basically aren't any different from a teenager now because they were born in the 90s?
- Why do fandom blogs hate hipster blogs? On tumblr, I've noticed like all the fandom blogs seem to be in agreement that the 'hipster' blogs are some sort of massive amalgamation of shoes and iPhones and overly deep pseudo intellectual text that's really meaningless, and I wonder why? Sure, those things do crop up every once and a while, but not often, and why bother with the hate? I mean, 'hipster' blogs largely just leave you alone and don't bother anyone. Can someone fandom-y tell me why this is?
- What would you consider me? Ex jock prep hipster? I buy from mainstream places, but I also love thrift shopping! I love Aztec prints and I wear alot of plain shirts that I accesorisze. I make jewelry and bake. I don't use heat on my hair and don't wear my makeup. I love 2 door cinema club, Edward sharpe, fun, and the fratellis. - What do you consider a good game? I'm looking into developing a iPhone/Android/Other application game. Nothing big like GTA V, I don't have that kind of developing skills, time or money. Just a casual game like Angry Birds. But all in all just name some games that you like, so I have an idea what people like.
