Am I eligible for an upgrade with Verizon?

I got the iPhone 4 in February of 2011, and I'm selfish and materialistic (or at least that's what I'm guessing at least one of you will say) so I really want the iPhone 5.Am I eligible for an upgrade?

You should talk to Verizon wireless customer service to see if your eligable to upgrade to an Iphone5. They'll tell you the right answer.

Nope you are not eligible for a upgrade. Verizon will say you have to wait until your 2 year contract is over. Verizon usually lets you upgrade 3 months before your contract is over. So if your 2 year contract is over around February 2013 you would get a upgrade notice around December 2012 by the end of this year. So you got three more months to go.

  • Will I be eligible for my upgrade through Verizon 1 day early? It will be easier for me to go to Verizon on a weekend day versus a weekday. AND, it's my birthday week, so I can finally get an iphone with worthy battery and actual sound. So I was wondering if Verizon would let me upgrade a day early without trying to sell me the edge plan bull.
  • Will I be eligible for an upgrade? So I purchased my iPhone 5s with a new contract and everything on my dad's plan in May of 2014, and I checked with ATT and it says I'm eligible for a upgrade if I trade in my device or pay the installment fee. I'm wondering if I trade in my iPhone 5s which has scratches and bents, but it fully works, will I be able to get an iPhone 6s?
  • What if it's too soon to be eligible for an upgrade on iphone? I want to get the new iphone 6, but I won't be eligible until January. If I decided to get the new one now, what will happen?
  • Verizon upgrade date? Any way to upgrade early? So today I went to the Verizon store to get the new iPhone 6. It came to 399, and everything was cool. But then, they realized I couldn't upgrade phones until March of 2016, and that if I still wanted the phone, it would come too around 800 dollars. So I was like yeah no thanks, and I left, all bummed out. So I was wondering if there's any way I could get the iPhone but, not for that outrageous price?
