Am I the only one who misses the 80's and 90's?

I'm nearly 30 so I grew up as a small child during the 80's and spent most of my teen years in the 90's. I just feel like those were better times than these days. All the kids could still be found outside playing army or cowboys and indians or having water fights instead of being glued to their Iphones and computers. People actually socialized more because there was no internet really. Facebook was not even in existence(I dislike Facebook) TV was still decent enough on every channel that the whole family could watch. Imo most main stream music was still worth a listen. Just better times to me.

You missed them? Don't worry they happened.

No, you're not the only one.those were the best decades ever… Wish we could go back lol

I was born in '93. Even though I'm 10 years younger than you, I gotta agree.TV shows were better, there wasn't this stupid Apple and Android Craze, and I used to love playing cops and robbers and cowboys and indians with my syblings and cousins.

I wasn't alive in the 80s and I don't remember much of the 90s. From what I hear it was a good time.

I'm 15 so I don't really remember the 90's

I do too, it was a much happier time then and the music, TV and movies were a lot better then.

Yes, those were simpler times in some ways and indeed it was an exciting time to be around.

I was born in 1987, so my memories of the eighties are fuzzy.

In the nineties, though, I do remember being allowed to wander where I liked. To climb trees in the grounds, go paddling, swimming and even canoeing on the University Broad without adult supervision. I could gather a crowd of people to play ball games with me, or I would be allowed to join in their games.

I had an idyllic childhood really.

I even fell out of one of the trees and cut my head open [needing stitches at A & E] but my folks didn't curtail my activities at all. They had only one rule - I must never go into any of the students' room with them. [We lived on a University campus.] That rule was broken for the undergraduate girls who were my babysitters, obviously. [I'm sure this was where I decided that I wanted to remain in academia all my life.]

Virtually everybody knew who that little blonde haired girl was, wandering around the campus; everyone was friendly to me. It was a lovely time.

Miss them? I crave them! Things were a lot more simple back then, you know? The 20th century, however, is a whole different story!

I find it hard to believe you are older than 15.
You clearly haven't grown up since then.

I miss the 90s trends and i miss the 80s music

Lol If you are Almost 30 you have no real memories of the 80's, stop kidding yourself.

it was a great time though minus the tech limitations.
