Am I the only person in the world that doesn't have an iphone
I'm 20 and I don't have an iphone, just a ordinary samsung cellphone that uses minutes. I don't really text either and my mom says I can't get an iphone because I haven't got any friends and she's right. I feel like a loser already:'( Everybody is always texting and I can't get their attention because they're always "fingering" their screens.Id like to throw a rock at the next person who texts.

IPhones aren't even a majority. Android is more common than iPhone due to the numerous different producers, and Apple likes to limit production. Most people do own smartphones, but minute phones are still out there and I wouldn't think of them as uncommon.

I can see the appeal of an iPhone (or any smart phone) for people with certain interests or lifestyles, but it just isn't for me. I just don't need another device to surf the web or be contacted on.
I, too, find it very rude when I'm hanging out with friends and they use every lull in conversation as an excuse to check their smart phone. I feel like they'd rather I wasn't there, or like they don't want to be hanging out with me at all, or like they wish I were texting them rather than sharing a meal with them.
I'm not looking forward to the time when google glass-like devices are common.
With iphone 4 free on a 2 year contract now, its not like it costs alot to get an iphone so no reason not to have it.

- It says it's an iMessage but the person doesn't have an iPhone? So whenever I go to text this person it says it's an iMessage, but he doesn't have an iPhone. He used to, but he got a new phone however it still says iMessage so I'm just worried because what if he's not getting the messages. Yes of course I'm irritating him. When did I ever say I kept texting him, all I said I was afraid if I were to send a message that he wouldn't get it.
