An app on my phone only plays live video horizontally/landscape mode & not vertically/portrait mode. Is there a setting/app to fix that?
My phone is Iphone 7 plus and the app is fox sports go. And I have looked through the app's settings there's no screen orientation settings. I want to be able to watch the game while holding my phone vertically so that people don't know i'm watching a video at events etc.
Just curious as to why staring a vertical screen vs horizontal is going to make all these people around you stupid?
Don't worry about everyone else paying attention to your phone.
I expect they are too busy with their own phones to bother with yours.
Some apps don't honor the screen orientation because it didn't make sense to the developers.
Check the swipe-up Control Center panel and look for a padlock with an arrow circling it. If the padlock is closed then the phone won't rotate the screen.
- Why do I look different when I take pictures on my iphone horizontally and vertically? So I realized that every time someone takes a video or a picture of me, I end up looking really short (though I'm already short to begin with) and my legs look very chunky and look less like they do in the mirror. But if I take a picture horizontally, then everything looks kind of proportionate and more importantly, my legs are a lot more nicer looking and slimmer. Is there really a difference between taking pictures horizontally or vertically or is it just me?

I have tried to reinstall it I have did the new ios upgrade I made sure portrait lock was not on the music settings, (the native music player works when you rotate it) My last resort is to back up my iphone and reload it, I really don't want to do this, any options that I'm overlooking? It is an Iphone 4s and is now at IOS 6.0

- Is there a tripod that can hold an iPhone horizontally? I'm looking for a tripod that can hold my iPhone 4S horizontally over a sheet of paper while I write on it, so I can record what I write. It would be best if the tripod sat off to the side a little, so that it wouldn't get in the way of my arm. I would also prefer if it were not visible in the video (the video will be recording the entire sheet).
