Android to iPhone transfer (pics, contacts, etc)?

Will my contacts and such transfer from my Android phone--LG Lucid--to the iPhone 5s (once I get it)? If so, is it by my SD/SIM card?

Added (1). I have Verizon if that counts for anything. Their backup program is the Backup Assistant which I guess is equivalent to the iCloud for Apple. So will that work, or will I have to start from scratch with my media stuff once I get the iPhone 5s?

It's not easy to do. Apple's closed universe makes it that way. IPhones have no removable/upgradable storage.

You will need to move your contact list to your computer. Just back it up to your SD card, transfer the backup to your computer, then use a third party program to change it into the file type that iTunes understands and add it into iTunes.

Being a former lucid owner, I can understand why you're switching. But please DO NOT USE BACKUP ASSISTANT PLUS. If you go even a little over the data limit they give you, they tack insanely high fees to your phone bill. If you take your old and new phones to a Verizon store, they should have a service where they can transfer your info for one phone to another free of charge.

I know that if you want to transfer your Android contacts to iPhone, there are many ways you can try, such as iPubsoft and iStonsoft, you can read the details here:
