Any good strategy games for Iphone?

I'm looking for a game that will let your build a city or kingdom, train troops, join alliances with and attack your friends! My buddies and I all want to download a game and compete with each other. Any game suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I know a lot of games that match your description but for iphone? No freaking idea.

Get minecraft its not just building stuff there's also survival mode were you have to get materials and create weapons and food and there all these goddam monsters that are impossible to kill with out a weapon

Temple Run and Temple run 2 are good competition games.

I play a game called Tribal Wars, which has an iOS app that's free. It probably fits your description perfectly, but if you're interested in graphic animations, this is probably not the game for you, but it has plenty of strategy and diplomacy with other players, and lots of action.

I have some friends who have talked about Clash of Clans being a really fun one with graphic animations, where you build a city, defend it, attack others, and form clans. I never really played it, but there's another option.

Finally, I want to bring up my all-time favorite strategy app. It's called Hero Academy, which is a head-to-head strategy game where you build an army and attack each other. It's another free one, that has additional content you can purchase (however, the vanilla version is complete and polished). There's no villages involved, but it's kind of similar. Anyway, check it out and see if it's something you're interested in. I really enjoy it.
