Any smart phones I can buy with a headphone jack, home button, and charger?
My iPhone 6s needs to be replaced. Apple keeps draining the battery like they do with all old phones. I'm not going to buy another iPhone, due to the lack of headphone jack, home button, and charger with iPhone 7, 8, and X. I don't want to use an adapter, because it is just another headache that I would keep having to make sure I don't lose. I want a phone that still has a headphone jack, home button, and charger, but is not expensive because I can't afford any expensive phone. Any suguestions?
The iPhone X still has a headphone jack and the same charger as the 6s. The only thing it doesn't have is the home button, but you get used to it super quick
Apple do not "drain the battery" - that is a myth.
I'm still using an iphone 6 and it works perfectly.
I fitted a new battery about two years ago.
I have everything permanently turned on (Wi-Fi, bluetooth, location) etc. But make sure I kill apps when I finish with them.
The battery lasts two days if it's idle, a few hours of continuous screen use; little different to when it was new.
It has all iOS updates installed.
Lithium batteries have a limited life and lose capacity over time. Just get a new battery fitted!
I can't recommend a different phone as you have eliminated all the best ones. I only ever use the headphone socket when I'm on a plane & I could live with an adapter for that. The iphone 7 has a home button, but it's a force sensor that has no parts to wear out - an improvement over the 6 etc.
I don't have a clue what you mean with the charger, they all have a lightning port the same as the 6 / 6s etc.
Only option is Android. And you have NEVER needed to use only the charger that comes with the iPhone.
You can get a one or two year old design new android for about $400. A Samsung Galaxy S8+ for example. And it uses USB-C so can charge fast. Update the OS to Pie or Android 9.0.
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
- Should I fix my iPhone headphone jack or buy Bluetooth headphones? I have an iPhone 3GS that has a broken headphone jack so I can only get volume out of one side. Should I get this fixed or should I buy bluetooth/wireless headphones. The repair costs $60 and most wireless headphones are at least $100. Would it be worth the money for good headphones rather than the repair. I have only used cheap $20 headphones before. Any links to good Bluetooth headphones at a decent price would be appreciated
- Is the iphone 5s' home button bigger than te iPhone 4S home button? Need As soon as possible me and my brother are getting into a fight about it cuz he said he's going to change the 4s home button to the 5s home button
- Is anyone having a glitch with iOS 11 when plugging your charger in, until you press the home button, the charger isn't shown as plugged in? To give a better idea, I have an Iphone 6S Plus, and I've been having a problem where when I charge my phone, I have to press the home button, to get the phone to charge.
