Any way to prevent losing Whatsapp chats with international SIM?
I'm going overseas for the year tomorrow and upon my arrival, I will be getting a SIM card for that country to put in my iPhone. I'm an avid Whatsapp user and am in many groups. I have heard that when you put a new SIM card in your iPhone, you lose all your contacts, including messages and Whatsapps. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

- Whatsapp chats from iPhone to Android Galaxy S4? Hi, I want to transfer the chats I had in my iPhone 4S (jailbreaked) to my Samsung Galaxy S4. I have the chats file from the iPhone (ChatStorage.sqlite) but the Android files are named different, it says msgstore.db.crypt in the Database folder on my Galaxy. Is there a way to convert the.sqlite to an Android compatible file?

My latest backup was two months ago so I don't have all my messages, when i transferred the data to my temporary phone. If my phone gets fixed, what will happen to my whatsapp messages on that phone? Will they be deleted, or will it stay the same as how it was before i broke it?
