Anyone else fascinated by technology?

I'm 19 and to me it's just amazing how technology has changed the world. Remember Blockbuster? I remember my mom always used to get movies from there… Now I looked up Blockbuster and a lot of it's stores have shut down. I'm assuming that is because of the internet and being able to watch free movies(like YouTube for example) as well as Netflix and other on demand services, including cable/satellite.

I remember being a kid and playing Nintendo 64. You either played by yourself or with the people next to you. Now you can play console games with others around the world and it is just amazing… You can also change the game via updates to fix up glitches and stuff as well as simply buy games over the internet. Games aren't even fun anymore because we all have cell phones and computers and we can easily look up cheats/guides, it isn't a mission anymore!

I remember my uncle used to go to the library and get GTA cheats and right them on paper but now that we all have phones, we don't have to bug that family member to use their computer or go to the library. Just lay in bed and google it on our phones lol!

Cell phones are a different story. Now it seems like everyone has a smart phone and the smart phones have everything! You don't even really need a digital camera(which is also a technological upgrade) because our cell phones can basically take the same quality photos and videos. Or very close… Unless you buy a super expensive photographer like cam.

Phones are just amazing and it is astonishing how I can sit in the park, record a video, and then upload it right to the internet. Memory is fantastic too! Being able to fit 64 gigs into a small little iphone is amazing. Remember tapes and cds lol? I don't even have to buy DVDs if I don't want to… Can just buy it digitally on iTunes.

Are you amazed by technology? Where do you think it will be in 10 yrs? GOOD Console games on our phones? Most likely lol, cause this is just crazy when you think about it…
