Anyone have a jailbroken Apple Device?
Okay so my iPod 2nd gen is outdated and it won't let me download any apps anymore so I'm thinking about jailbreaking the iPod. I don't know much on jailbreaking but can someone answer some questions I have?
-Pros and cons of jailbreaking a device
-Will jalibreaking let my outdated iPod download apps? (Mine is so outdated that it won't even let me download apps anymore)
-Do these jailbreaking softwares come with viruses? Is it safe to do with my computer?
-What are the chances of my iPod "bricking" or breaking
-Is it worth it? I already have the iPhone 5 and I'm just jailbreaking, if I did, for fun.
I will answer.
^No.
^It can.
^No viruses with that.
^If iPod, it won't' brick.
^Yeaaa.
I recommend that you don do this, don't just jailbreak any apple device. Some friends of mine once did that and they regreted it later because some troubles with iOS appeared later and also some technical problems with their cell like they couldn answer when the cell rang etc.
- Will my jailbreak on one device transfer to another device via iTunes? So I bought an iPhone 5 today and I'm afraid to sync it to my Apple ID/ iTunes because my 8GB iPod is also synced to that iTunes account and its jailbroken. I don't want my jailbroken iPod to affect my iPhone 5. Will it affect it? I don't think it will but I just want to make sure before I sync it for the first time.
- How do you stop calls coming from one device coming to your device from iCloud (apple iPhone)? I'm 13 and i don't have a credit card so i use my mums account and since my phone and her phone has the same icloud, her calls come into MY phone and i've tried making a new apple id but it won't work so how can i stop it (i've already logged out on my phone) so how can i stop it?
- Should I repair my jailbroken device or not? My 6.1.3 jailbroken iPhone 5's speakers do not work. The phone is still under warranty, so I can bring it into an Apple store to be fixed. However, I have to re-format my device to factory settings so my warranty is not voided. After Apple fixes the phone, can I downgrade to 6.1.3 to jailbreak again? Or is there another solution to this?
- Is it possible to have 2 associated Apple ID or iCloud account on a single device? Okay so I bought a used or second hand iPhone 5 online. The iCloud account is cleared so I input mine. I decided to perform a hard reset or a restore via iTunes but I fear something might go wrong. So I'm asking, is it possible to have 2 associated Apple ID or iCloud account on a single device (I mean, does the iCloud account or Apple ID of the previous owner of the device is really gone)? Does my iPhone now recognizes my own iCloud account or Apple ID?
