A GOOD iPhone 5 Bluetooth headset for audio listening?
I'm in a wheelchair & when I go out to run errands, I would like to be able to listen to my music between any calls I may receive.
I know that there's a pair of earbud-like headphones sold with the iPhone 5 that has a mic for phone calls but I broke it & its cheap as hell anyways, lol.
So I need a Bluetooth headset that can let me make/receive calls & play my music through its earpiece between calls. Any info/help would be appreciated.
'Good audio' and 'Bluetooth' are somewhat mutually exclusive - the usual BT standards don't allow for good audio, and any extensions (like KLEER or APT-X) require matching transmitters and receivers on both sides (and no, the iPhone doesn't have anything of that built in).
But if A2DP is good enough for you - that still leaves the question what kind of headset you want:
- single ear or stereo
- in-ear, on-ear or around-ear
- lightweight or good audio quality
Basically, any BT headset will do with an iPhone 5 - the earlier iPhones had some trouble with the AVRCP (i.e.interpreting the keys on the headset), but the 5 should be able to handle at least that more or less correctly.
If you want to go for a (rather large) around-the-ears headset with good audio quality, I'd recommend the Sennheiser MM550 (if you can still get it - current model is the MM550-X with APT-X support). If you don't want that shape and/or don't need the active noise cancelling, there are a few other Bluetooth headsets from Sennheiser here: http://en-de.sennheiser.com/search?c=1&a=34&keep=false&title=Bluetooth+Headphones+%26+Headsets±+Earphones+&pmin=0&pmax=1050

- What are some good free music listening apps for an iPhone? I have used the app spotify and did not care for it. I would still like find a app where you can find a song and listen to it for free. I already know of Pandora and use it but I want something that you can create your own playlist and listen to it for free.
- My bluetooth headset sounds like it is underwater? My bluetooth headset (Sony WI-C400) sounds fine when I connect it to my iPhone, but when I connect it to my Mac, it sounds like it is underwater or something. Also, the headset has a mic in it for calls, and so I can hear through the mic if I tap it or something. Again, this usually doesn't happen on my phone. Sorry if it's a basic problem, couldn t find anything online.
- Listening To Music In My Car Without AUX port or Bluetooth? I have a 2006 Nissan Murano, it doesn't have an AUX port or a option for Bluetooth, iPhone's have an apply to broadcast music thru a radio station and I wanna if there's an app for that on the galaxy s5 or a little device that could go where a phone charger would go and be able to play music from my phone to a radio station, there's a device like that but only plays with a micro SD car
