Anything about iPhone 5?

Hi. I just got a iPhone 5 from my friend. Its a norm iPhone 5. No finger scanner. And I was really hoping for it. Is there any way that I can add that finger scanner without paying a lot of money? And the lock button doesn't work either. And suggests on what I should do.

There's no way to add a finger scanner. You need a 5S or a 6 for that.

I hope you didn't pay a ton of money for that phone, or any money for that matter.

You can change the lock button but the finerprint scanner won't work on the iPhone 5 as hardware doesn't support that.

I have an iPhone 5. It works great. It's just an older generation though. My friends got the 6+.

There's no different or special iPhone 5, for the record.

  • Will updating my iPhone 4s delete anything? I have an iPhone 4s that needs it first update and i need someone that i completely sure. I was about to update it and it said the following There are purchased items on the iPhone "Black Rose" that have not been transferred to your iTunes library. You should transfer these items to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone. Are you sure you want to continue? Will that delete anything? I need some one that is sure and has done this b4 NO guessing!
  • Will jailbreaking my iPhone do anything bad? I want to jailbreak my phone, and i have a softwear thing for it or whatever, but i just don't know if it will mess up my phone at all?
  • Why is my itunes app on my iphone not letting me donwload anything? When i try downloading something from the itunes app on my iphone it says download error/ tap to retry. What does that mean i haven't even went over on my memory. Why does it say that and how do i fix it?
  • Why can't I hear anything from my iPhone 4s? I can't hear anything except when on the phone; without headphones in. The volume doesn't show up unless I have headphones in. And I've tried putting the headphones in and out fast, turning on and off, and nothing worked. My phone is up to date - iOS 5.1.1
