Recommend a running tracking device?
Looking to buy something to track runs (distance, pace, route, time etc.)
I know there are loads of apps that do this on android and iPhone but buying as a present for someone who uses neither
So want more of a pedometer thing - but GPS tracked for accuracy. Also something fairly small so don't notice it running - ideally display distance as going along - possibly sync runs with computer to give run history… Any ideas?
Look at the Garmin Forerunners, but they're not usually going to be "small" unless you look at the recently released 620 model, which is expensive and hard to find
If you're buying as a present, you should perhaps let them choose which model they want… Or at least make sure what you get is returnable.
- Will my jailbreak on one device transfer to another device via iTunes? So I bought an iPhone 5 today and I'm afraid to sync it to my Apple ID/ iTunes because my 8GB iPod is also synced to that iTunes account and its jailbroken. I don't want my jailbroken iPod to affect my iPhone 5. Will it affect it? I don't think it will but I just want to make sure before I sync it for the first time.
- What GPS tracking iphone apps (cycling and running) can be used without a 3G signal? I have been using both endomondo and mapmyride for my running and cycling. When I came to track my mountain biking neither of the apps would start a workout because I was out in the sticks with no network connection. I wasn't expecting any live maps, but was expecting either one of the above to be able to track my coordinates by GPS, to be uploaded later. Shame really because I like the apps. Do they actually works without a network signal and I'm missing something?
- Tracking device compatible with iPhone? Is there a tracking device that i can connect to an app on my phone because i recently lost my 1 year old $45 wallet that had $210 in it. I really am mad but i'm going to get a new wallet and i think i want a small microchip or something like that so if i loose it i can pull out my phone and look on a gps Please Help
- How do you stop calls coming from one device coming to your device from iCloud (apple iPhone)? I'm 13 and i don't have a credit card so i use my mums account and since my phone and her phone has the same icloud, her calls come into MY phone and i've tried making a new apple id but it won't work so how can i stop it (i've already logged out on my phone) so how can i stop it?
