Anyone who uses PDAnet Wi-Fi tethering?

So I'm using it right now, but I'm very concerned as to if PDAnet can actually "hide" my usage of PDAnet. My concern is that I don't want to rack up a 400 dollar bill from using PDAnet. However I read that they actually can see your data usage, but can't do anything about unofficial tethering because they'd basically have to admit they're spying on people which is illegal. I don't think I'll have to worry either way though because I already have the fully unlimited plan so the worst they could do is charge an extra $30 for using PDAnet. What's funny though is my iphone didn't come with a hotspot option in the first place O. O… Anyway is PDAnet legit? I just don't wanna get into trouble for using it.

Added (1). **forgot to add my carrier is Sprint… I know they're actually really lean about free apps so i don't know it may all be good with them. I'm using PDAnet to just play WoW ;_; I'm not downloading any massive files or anything… Well except right now because I haven't updated WoW on this computer in forever.

  • Would their be any Wi-Fi tethering apps on a jailbroken iPhone 3GS? Apart from paid apps (MyWi) and useless apps (PDANet), would their be any free wi-fi tethering apps on the Cydia store. I will appreciate and value your responses.
  • Why is USB internet tethering not working on my office PCs? I tried to access internet on my office PCs by USB tethering with my Iphone and Andriod phone but it was not working. USB tethering was successfully working on my home PCs and all my friends' PCs but not on my office PCs. What settings on my office PCs do I have to modify? I believe that issue is not related to windows OS versions because all the PCs are using the same OS.
  • Is tmobile tethering the same as mobile hotspot? Because on the tethering it doesn't have a price but on hotspot it's the same will they charge you if you tether with a unlocked iPhone 4 on monthly 4g?
  • IPhone internet tethering Optus? On your iPhone you are able to share your data with your laptop or other devices (tethering). Basically you can use your iPhone as a 3G modem. I'm on a prepaid Optus plan that includes 5GB of data BUT Optus decides that they think we should pay $15/month to use this iPhone feature with separate data. Is there a way I can do this for free without Jailbreaking my iPhone?
