Apple AirTunes/AirPlay iTunes Mac
I have a powermac G5 connected via ethernet to my superhub router directly. My iPhone is connected to the superhub's Wi-Fi so they are both on the same network. Having read apple's website it states that both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi NETWORK to be able to use airplay from my iphone to my mac. The powermac g5 doesn't have Wi-Fi capababilities by default so my question is:
Can i use airplay to stream songs to my powermac g5 when my iphone is on the wireless network but the mac is wired via ethernet or does it all have to be over Wi-Fi, which seems a bit stupid
PowerPC based Macs don't do AirPlay.

- IMessage or AirPlay not working? So apparently with mountain lion you"re supposed to be able to continue a text across all your devices, but none of my text conversations show up on my iMac or iPad.iMessage is activated on all my devices. Also your supposed to be able mirror your display across devices but neither my iPad or iPhone shows up in display preferences in mountain lion or iPad or iPhone.
- I've been using my iPhone on my Mac, but my Mac's busted. Can I use it with the iTunes on my PC? I had a MacBook pro which has had problems. Luckily I have a new PC with iTunes on it. What happens when I connect my iPhone to the PC and try and Sync music or update the software? Will it work?
