Apple are not replacing my iphone?

Broke my iphone pretty badly 2 weeks ago and went into the apple store, a guy had a look at it and said I can replace it for you for roughly 140 Pounds, didn't have the money at the time so I said I will come back as soon as possible, got my money through today and went to the apple store once again, and this time a different guy told me that apparently the screen is not genuine meaning it hasn't been produced by apple, which is absolutely not true. Therefore they can't replace my iphone. Phone was in a sealed box when I got it of 3 mobile store in London and I'm 99% sure it is a genuine apple product. Don't see a reason why 3 mobile would open my phone specifically and replace my screen:/ The phone didn't even have a scratch on it until I broke it so no non genuine apple products could have been put on it after purchase.plus the guy in the apple store didn't even describe why the screen was not a genuine apple product. Been angry all day looking for a solution but Don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be much appreciated…

You must have bought a refurbished iphone from 3.
they replaced the screen with unofficial parts.

  • White Screen of Death on My IPhone 3GS After Replacing Screen? I recently replaced the cracked screen of my IPhone 3GS. After reassembling it, I got the White Screen of Death. I've tried holding the power button and the home button to try to reboot, but it does not work. The phone seems to still be working normally other than the screen. In fact, it is currently playing music. Does anyone have and suggestions on how to fix this?
  • Stripped screw while replacing iphone 4 screen? I accidentally stripped one of the screw on the internal side of my iphone 4, I absolutely HAVE to get the screen off and I can't because I stripped the screw. WHAT CAN I DO? Please SOMEONE Help!
  • Is it worth replacing my cracked iphone back before i sell it? I have just got the iphone 5 and i want to sell my iphone 4 to mobile exchange they offered around £130 for it in working condition but when i emailed and said it has a small crack on the back they said the price could go down to £46 depending on how bad, but i need to send it off for them to asses. My question is, i can get the back repaired for £15 and then send it off, but will this be cheaper then sending it with the damage? Anyone had the same problem? Cheers!
  • Is iPhone screen replacing easy? Is it worth having a go? I'm thinking to learn how to fix iPhone 3GS/4S screens but not sure if ill be able to do it? There are tutorials on YouTube on how to do it and if I do learn I could charge people for it as it is really expensive to get them fixed at shops!
