Apple ID disabled credit card problem?

Ok so back when I was in America, I put in my dads credit card into my iPhone. Now that I moved and am living overseases my dad stopped all credit cards and threw them out.recently my apple ID got disabled. So I call apple and they need to verifying my identity. So I give them everything I know and then they ask about the credit card number and expiration date. I didn't know it because my dad threw the cards away and the person told me that they need it to verify my identity. So with out the cards how will I ever verify my identity when I can't give them the information to enable my account. I looked at the payment options thing but it doesn't tell the information. What should I do?! Should I just put the payment option to none and that way they won't ask? I can tell them what was the last thing I brought and even tell them WHEN I brought it. Will this help?

I Don't know Who you spoke to but that should be a red flag. Nobody should Ever ask you for your credit card information in that situation & they Should be able to help you without it. Are you Sure you have the Right number for Apple? Maybe try calling back Again & asking for help. Enabling your Apple ID is Free, they should Not need Any credit card information for that. If they give you the Same problem ask to speak to their Supervisor after explaining you do Not need to provide that information for them to help you enable your Apple ID and you are suspicious they want to use your (your Dad's) credit, Keep asking to speak to the person's Supervisor until someone Actually helps you. Is there an Apple store anywhere around where you live? If so I'd call them & get an appointment so you can go in person for help. I find them Very helpful in the store, though Very busy.

This sounds like a scam? I have no credit card on my apple id so why would they care you can use prepaid itunes cards. Were you paying for extra storage? I would definitely remove the bad information from the accout but if it is disabled that would mean you can't access the settings? Right? Have you tried logging into your acct from a laptop or is this through an iphone/ipad or ipod?

This is a hot topic on the apple website I would go directly there an see what you can sift thru.
