APPLE IPHONE 3G STUCK ON PINEAPLE LOGO AFTER RESTORE

I bought an iphone 3g on ebay. And it was working fine, the only problem was that it had the pineapple logo instead of the apple logo. I decided to restore it, thinking that it'll erase the settings and memory along with the pineapple logo. It restored for 2hrs and then appeared a blank black screen. 10 minutes passed and i looked at it again. The pineapple logo appeared. I thought that it was just powering up, but the logo just stayed there for hours and hours. Do you have any advice? Or somehow get rid of this? 10 pts BEST ANSWER!

I'm sorry but I think your iphone is bricked? Meaing that you can't use the phone anymore, also because you bought a jailbroken iphone 3G, take it to someone who can repair iphone they ought to help you…
