No the price is £469 for a 16gb £549 for a 32gb that is sim free. But if you get one on a contract you may get it for free on 2 year contract or for a small price.

Yup it's true. It's probably that much because it has the same processing system as the Iphone 5 and it has a plastic back. So if your looking for a good priced smartphone I would go for the Iphone 5c.
P.S It also comes with the new iOS 7
