Even though most of us don't think too much about it, iPod hearing loss is a serious risk for many iPod users.
A growing body of research is showing that how we listen to our iPods can cause lasting hearing damage.
The iPod can produce a maximum of 100 to 115 decibels.
Software limits European iPods to 100 dB.
US Models have been measured higher, which is the equivalent of attending a rock concert.

- Why does the iphone put full volume when I plug in headphones? I hate when it puts it in nearly full volume when I plug in the headphones and have them in my ears. Why does it like to troll me like that?
- IPhone 4s volume buttons not working, how can I turn down my call volume without these buttons? My side volume buttons aren't working on my iPhone 4s and my call volume is super loud (other people can hear the person I'm on the phone with) is there any other way to turn down the call volume?
- Iphone 4s Volume buttons not working and volume bar gone? Since yesterday, the volume on my iphone has been playing up. The volume bar would appear and disappear and everytime i clicked the volume buttons, the volume icon would not appear ect?
- How much will an iPhone 5 cost a month with Verizon approximately? I want an iPhone 5 really badly, but my dad says the call and internet rate will be too much, but he's never had an iPhone 5 before so he doesn't really know. Does anyone have Verizon and an iPhone, and can you tell me how much it will cost?
