AR Drone 2. Why am i not getting the absolute control option on my Ipad or IPhone?

The piloting screen is only giving me the " Left Hand on/off" option. But the absolute control option is there on my Aldi 7" android tablet

I have the exact same problem. Only "Left Hand on/off" available in that menu, that should contain "Absolute control" etc.

I bourght my Parrot ar drone 2.0 yesterday, and i delivery it back to the hoppy-store today.

As far as I can read, the "Absolute control" mode, is only available in US / US app store. I'm from Denmark, and do not have that option.

The problem is, that, that information is not listed anywhere, and to find out, you have to unpack the drone, charge the battery, and connect it to you device. (In my case, Ipad mini).

It isn't listed anywhere on the package either, so I hope that there won't be any trouble getting my money back.

If you are from US, I don't understand why you haven't got the option, on your Ipad.

  • Why does iPhone not have the option to require a password to turn the phone off? When someone steals your iPhone, the first thing they do is turn it off, not allowing you to use the GPS function to search for the phone. This means you have 0 time to get a rough idea of where your phone is, as this may still be very useful in tracking your phone. Is it because: 1. They not thought of the idea 2. Apple wants stolen phones in order to increase sales 3. It's a stupid and pointless idea to begin with
  • Why do so many people have Iphones? I think there ABSOLUTE crap? The screen is tiny, it has no character, only one boring menu, the screen is dull, it COST 80 DOLLARS A MONTH and the stretched out design is UGLY. I think that even Samsung phone is even better than those overrated phones.
  • What is the best drone to get for what I want? I want it between $200-$1000. It needs to have a long battery life(30 mins. Or more.) It needs to have live video feed on the controller or an iPhone app which would be the controller. It would need to be at least 720p and keep the feed for up to 1000 feet or more. It would be much appreciated if you could help me out with a good drone with most or even all of the items on my wish list.
  • What can I use to attach iPhone to a flying drone? I'm a proffesional photographer mainly photographing cars, and this Sunday is the weekly car show that I go to and my friend has a hovering drone that he is going to bring. We're trying to figure out how we can attach his iphone to it so it stays secure so that we can take pictures/videos that will turn out good to put on my photography page. We've considered Velcroe/Tape so far but are not sure. Any recommendations/help would be appreciated thanks.
