Are iphone and ipod chargers interchangeable?
I have the ipod classic and I'm looking for a usb charger to stick into my laptop. I found one but it says "apple iphone 4s charger" Is the but of iphones, ipads and ipods all the same or should I specifically get an ipod charger?

The 30 pin dock connector is a proprietary port universal to all iPods, iPhones, and iPads. The only ones that aren't compatible with the 30 pin connector are the iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPod Touch 5th Generation, and the iPod Nano 7th Generation. All other devices are compatible, so it will work. But it is recommended that you get one that is "Made for iPod," because some cables output a higher voltage than others, that may make it charger slower or harm the battery, but the damage is very minimal. If you must buy this cable, it will work.

As long as you don't have the iPad mini, and the 4th generation iPad, iPod 5th generation, and the iPhone 5th generation then you can swap as many times as you would like cause any other iDevice below below that is basically 30 pin connector (the original.)
