Are Iphones Better Than Samsung Galaxy?

I wanted to get a new phone, and am stuck! I don't know what phone I should get? Some people say Samsung Galaxy's are much better than Iphones. What do you think?

I have an iPhone 5 and I love it. The App Store has more selection than the Google Play Store as well: P

This is tough to answer as each have features that over shadow the other. If you don't care for the large screen size or customization options than the iPhone would be a better choice. Also a little more stable. You would have to know how you plan on using the phone. If it's just to use social apps and play candy crush than you'll have the same experience with both

I think it's pointless to ask a question here when you see there's already differences of opinion. It's also wrong to think that one of these phones is plainly better than the other. The real factor is what you want out of a phone. Each has some advantage over the other.

iPhones give you Apple's legendary quality and longevity. Since the phone, it's media manager software (iTunes) and the phone's OS (iOS) are made by the same company, integration of phone and computer will be seamless. If you've already got an iPod Touch or iPhone, staying with Apple saves you the cost and trouble of getting apps all over again.

Samsung is also a quality maker. My Samsung Reality is 3 years old. Unlike the iPhone, Samsung allows you to swap batteries, so your device doesn't have to be written off if the battery goes bad. Also, you have the option of buying extra batteries if you expect to be in a situation where you won't be able to recharge - I had that problem last November after Hurricane Sandy. IPhone battery life can be stretched using battery cases, but they are expensive - a mophie juice pack will cost about $80 at Newegg, while a replacement battery for an SIII can be half that.

Unlike iPhone you have greater control of your media. You're not stuck using iTunes. Just plug your microSD card into a card reader, copy from your PC and then put it back into your phone. Since you have MicroSD card support, your memory capacity is practically limitless - you can just keep swapping cards. Also, if your phone dies, you can salvage whatever s on the card. Since iPhones don't have cards, you can't save whatever you put on it of the iPhone dies.

While I don't own either of them, let's just say that the Galaxy S3 was so advanced that Apple tried to have it banned before the iPhone 5 came out. It still is more advanced than the competition. I think Samsung jumped the gun with ths Galaxy S4. The S3 has been out a while and had no real competition. The only competitor the S4 has is the S3.
