Are Lightning Charger bad for your iPhone battery/reduce their life? (I've heard you should only use the standard 1amp charger for iPhones)?

Are Lightning Charger bad for your iPhone battery/reduce their life? (I've heard you should only use the standard 1amp charger for iPhones)?

Added (1). I've been told its not good to use a 2 amp iPad charger for an iPhone (which only uses a 1 amp charger because it will degrade your battery life over time… Yet most Lightning Chargers are 3 amps or 5 amps. So would that not also degrade your battery faster over time? How can Apple recommend not using a 2 amp iPad charger while at the same time recommending Apple certified lightning chargers that are an even higher amperage?

High-speed charging produces more heat in the battery. Heat is bad for that kind (lithium-ion) of battery.

If you're using a lightning charger every day, it might shorten the lifetime of your battery. How much? Maybe a few months off of a nominal 3 year lifespan.

Personally, I'd stick with the standard charger, especially if you use the phone while it's charging.

Use whatever charger you like.

No battery will last forever anyway.

1amp chargers are very old and any idevice made in the last 3 years should be able to handle higher amps. You should check the maximum ampage for your specific device though.
