Are there apps that are similar to Siri?
I want to have Siri but I don't have an IPhone 4S. Is there something on my IPod 4 that I can use that's similar to Siri? Anything?
Yes, I would try Dragon Go and Dragon dictation, they allow you to use your voice to search the web, etc.
Siri uses server end voice analysis and directed search results. It's not so much an app as a collection of services. The whole is pretty much just a Jobs cult thing. It doesn't actually work nearly as well as in the commercials, though. There are Android apps that do similar things but not as comically.

- Why is IPhone Siri funnier than iPad Siri? I have an iPad mini. Siri is so boring on mine. She just says, "I can't answer that." Or "is that so?". On my friends iPhone, she replies really funny.
