I would advise not going the Apple route at all, personally. You can get the same phone, with a much better battery life and lot cheaper, from other companies

I just bought a Samsung cos I don't like the way Apple holds its users to ransom although I admire how they've sold their 'magic'… Just like I admire those who market xianity… The best scam ever invented.

I always compare iPhone owners to theists because the iPhone can't do anything close to what they claim and you have to pay a HUGE price to get one.
But Android phones do everything you ever need at a much lower price if just willing to not have the "Cool" factor of not owning an iPhone.
And part of the reason I want nothing to do with Apple is last year Apple changed their T&Cs for anyone publishing ebooks through the app store and basically means if you sell any of your work through them they can choose to take a percentage of every sale you make, including if you sell it on Google play, Amazon, paperback or just anywhere else which just shows the monumental greed and oppressive control Apple try to have over everything.
@Everard yeah you'd be surprised how nasty Apple is under that polished surface… Because they buy up patents and sue absolutely anyone for even the slightest reason and have put countless small companies out of business by outspending them in court simply because they were doing work that helps their competition, But Apple users are often like Christians because they deliberately ignore a lot of this because all they care about is having a device that makes them feel better.

I would say get it whenever its convinient however apple is stupid and the iphon is pointless go with something in the andriod market like the galaxy or something it can do literally everything an iphone can do only better (it holds more music since you can use sd cards, siri is pointless and you can still use speak to text to do google searches and so forth)
