ATT don't let me unlock my I-phone? - 1
Added (1). The next post is Not an answer but my incidence.
Question: Is it your phone to unlock or does it belong to ATT and do you owe money to ATT? Most phones bought on contract do not become the property of the user until that last payment on the contract is made. If you break the contract you may find they will be chasing you (legitimately) for damages!
To unlock the phone it must be paid off (not on a payment plan), not reported lost or stolen, and be on the network for at least 60 days at some point in the life of the phone.
- Would att unlock my iphone 4? I have an iPhone 4 which was unlocked by att through their program. They unlock a phone when it fulfilled its contract with them.either being with them two years or having paid early termination fees. but there's something wrong with my phone.apple will give me a new iPhone for $149 but they told me it would be locked with att. Now my question is would att unlock the new phone for me?
- What exactly can i do if i don't have a att upgrade available- iphone 3gs? I have an iphone 3gs. If i buy an iphone 4 from a friend, can i just change the sim card and have that phone, even if i don't have an upgrade from att until april? (i know the sim card sizes are different, but it is possible to cut it down, so i would do that)
- If I buy an iPhone 4S on eBay, would att (my carrier) let me use the iPhone? - 1 What would I have to do to make it were was my simcard would be in phone. Where would I have to go to?
- I got a 2nd hand att iphone 6 plus i took it to att to activate? But the phone had been reported stolen/lost. The guy i bought it off from is not answering so he will not give me the money back. Can i use it with another carrier? Or what can i do to use it? Its unlock already.
