Background refresh on the iphone on or off?

It does
I always turn that off, I'd rather just update stuff myself when I want to.
If you are concerned about your battery backup then you should switch Background Refresh OFF. It helps preserve battery.
Well no, of course that wouldn't save battery since it would involve the apps using it to update them in the background.
It would more convenient for commonly used apps though
- Where is the refresh button on Instagram? On my android, I had a refresh button perfectly. Now, on my iPhone 4S, there's none. Not at the home screen at the top right or in my feed. Where is it?
