Backing up photos from iPhone 5?

My phone experienced some water damage a few days ago & I don't know if it can be fixed.

All my pictures are on my phone & I (stupidly) never backed them up into my computer.

I think I have charged my phone on my computer a couple times. My friend told me that if I have done this, I can still retrieve my data.

Is this true? How can I retrieve my photos from my phone? I think I know how to retro it which would make it turn on & work again but all my data would be erased so I don't want to do that just yet. What can I do?

You had to have manually back it up. Sorry.

The only thing that could help you in these type of situation is to enable iCloud for the pictures. If iCloud is enable, you can retrieve the pictures by logging in to iCloud.com Check it out, who knows?

  • Would you pay to have the backing glass of you iphone changed to a different colour? I was thinking of this has a business idea. I saw that the new ipods had different backing cases of different colours and i was thinking i would really like my iphone to be blue, so would you think it was a good idea to have the back of your iphone a different colour, would you pay for it?
  • Would backing up then restoring an iphone remove a jailbreak? Due to the recent release of IOS 7, i plan on updating my iphone 5(ios 6.1.2) but it is jailbroken. Would backing up then restoring my iphone keep all my pictures and app data while removing the jailbreak? If not what is your best recommendation for me to do. Would really appreciate an answer thanks!
  • Why is my iphone not backing up to iCloud? When I try to back up my iphone it says backing up, estimating time remaining then stops. What do I do?
  • Restoring iPhone and backing it up? -Well my iPhone 4S has been going in and out of 3G to the no service circle a lot lately so I've read it's Apple recommended to restore your iPhone. -Now, my iPhone is backed up on my computer, but my question is, when I restore my iPhone back to factory default, am I still allowed to back it up after the restore so I don't lose all my contacts (300 contacts), pictures, etc. -Idk I'm a total noob when it comes to backup and restore for the iPhone: p.
