Battery percentage issue on both my iPhone and iPad?
This is the situation:
- let's say the iphone's indicator shows 80 percent battery.
- I plug it into a wall socket and turn off, reboot it.
- for some reason the indicator has gone down to like 76 percent, and slowly charges back up to 80 percent and eventually 100 percent.
this happens on my ipad too.
- does anyone else have this issue? It's annoying since it means that the indicator isn't accurate.
i update the iOS on both devices to see if that would fix the issue… It DID NOT!
is Apple aware of this problem?
Added (1). since it's RECEIVING electricity, shouldn't the percent either stay the same or GO UP? Why on earth would the percent indicator suddenly show a much lower level?
Charge indicators in phones and the like aren't perfect.
They are there to give an APPROXIMATE reading,
so don't take them too literally.
The rate of charge must vary to prevent damaging the battery as it approaches full charge.
- Why does the last percentage of my iphone battery takes so long to charge? I have noticed that the very first percentages (1-20) of the iphone battery charges very quickly, but when it comes to the last percentage (99-100) it takes like 15 minutes to charge!
- What to do if your iPhone 4S battery percentage is stuck and won't change? My iphone battery percentage is stuck at 100% and I don't know what to do. The only time my battery percentage changes is if I turn my phone off and back on and it'll be on the real battery percentage but it'll still be stuck. Can someone help me with this problem?
- Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
- Why battery percentage indicator in iphone is not showing accurate battery? Let its being charged, let it reached 97 percent, it will still showing charging, but if i off/on it, it will show 100 percent, and it shuts off when it reaches 4 percent, please tell what's problem? and as above i said, if i go to "usage" it will show time charged last time:0 mins standby:0mins but at top right its 99percent and is showing charging?
