Best Camera with night shot?

What is the best camera?

Is Samsung Galaxy 4 better than Iphone?
I don't really need the apps as I have basic usage for my phone.
Is it better to buy a regular camera or one of these 2 phones? My canon ixus 700 gives blurred phtos

Your blurred photos are due to you moving the camera during long exposures needed to get good exposures at night.

Try placing your camera against a sturdy wall or table when shooting in low light. This should reduce blur.

You Canon has some distinct advantages over a cell photos camera. Mainly its optical zoom and the ability to adjust your sensors sensitivity manually

These both are good. But the camera's quality of Sony is fantastic. So no doubt I would like suggest you to choose sony for camera and sound instead of these both.

There are many advantages for using the camera on your smart phone, the first being that it is always with you. I have seen some quite excellent pix from the smart phones. They are so good that they are squeezing out the compact camera sales.

Both your Canon and the smart phone cameras are challenged in low light. A compact camera with manual controls for aperture, shutter speed and ISO will give you the best results. Not available on smart phones the last I looked. Of course, you will have to learn to use those tools.

Night Shot? Most digital cameras come with a built-in flash but if you're one of those who detest artificial lighting may I suggest an IR-converted dSLR?

Try using a combination of a higher ISO sensitivity setting along with a faster shutter speed. I'm older and use a 1/200th of a second almost always when I'm hand holding the camera. I also use ISO 200 or ISO400 sensitivity settings. If your Canon pictures are blurred you are not using your camera correctly. Reread your manual, or buy Volume I of Scot Kelby's Digital Photography books. You need to learn how to use the camera you own before branching out to another model Cell phones are pure junk for quality pictures. They are good for recording fender benders not life long remembrances!
