Best smartphone - iPhone or Android?

What is the best smartphone out at the moment?

I was thinking about the iPhone 4S, but apparently there are loads of phones better now? I read a review in a magazine saying that the HTC One X is a much better phone.

The HTC One X is £430 from the earphone warehouse, whereas the iPhone 4S is £500! Eek. Not looking to be put on a contract.

Android by a country mile. They are outselling iphone by a large margin.

The iphone 4s might not be better than other phones but it has Way better quality and it is easy to learn how to work it not like other phones. IPHONE4s

After experiencing both I would say android. Especially Samsung gs3

Its personal preference. I have used both(systems). Out of the box I found the iphone (3gs) was easier to get up & running. But I have a HTC now with Android. I did not want it at first because all of the hype around the iphone but I love it. Its a great system. You have to be careful of the hype. Having used a HTC phone I now realise how over hyped the the iphone was.

take these phone only. I have both but i like iphone 4s

I advise you not to get the iPhone 4s because it's been out for like 9 months already but if you really want it, it's still one of the best phones available today. After using both phones I have to say the htc one x offers more than the iPhone. The iPhone 4s is the most mainstreamed phone which means that loads of people have them while the one x is not so much. I think the one x is the best I use it as my personal device and the next time I will change is probably for the iPhone 5.
So my advice is to get the one x.

I do know of how a typo of Carphone Warehouse is worse ( never have that trouble with Phones4U!)

The iPhone4s ISN'T even a match to the SGS 2 (I9100)
ONLY ONLY that the IP4S has a higher tariff!

No phone have won more awards in 2011 than the SGS II including the IP4S

iPhones tariffs on any every network defy logic and gravity.

SGS 2 is far better than any iPhone and will be a lot cheaper than any iPhone

Briefly the things that set the aside are TARIFFS / micro sd expansion/ and battery, the SGS2 battery CAN be removed so you CAN buy a spare as backup***
The 3GS WILL be discontinued in 2012/13, the IP4 as now only 8Gb in 2013/14

An SGS2 means you have micro SD expansion (no £100.00 for an extra 16GB [PAYG]) Bluetooth
ALSO… The I9100 SGS2 has true multitasking and move-able widgets, you design the phones layout.
The IP4S will be able to do real 3G video call ( not Wi-Fi at present "face time") when updated to IOS6 which is catchup… Hello! You can move away from the computer

And I have not even mentioned the SGS III ( or the LG Optimus 4X HD P880 )

So in order SGS 3/ LG Optimus 4X SGS 2 and if you want to spend a whole heap MORE money the IP4S, and ONLY if you have secured a line of credit ( ask the Banks if this is a TRUE market interest rate… ) the iPhone5
