Best team for the elite 4? Pokemon fire red? - 1
I know there's like 100 other questions like this but id like to know if my team is good enough to take on the elite 4. Also i'm playing on an app on an iphone called GBA4IOS, so i can't trade any pokemon to further evolve them. (Unless there's a way?)
There all around lv 40 but now that i have unlocked all areas i don't want to keep training them unless i know its what i'm keeping.
1. Hitmonlee with mega kick
2. Gyarados with hyper beam and surf (i don't want a lapras)
3. Riachu with thunder and focus punch
4. Snorlax with rest, snore, and body slam
5. Kadabra with psychic and recovery (can't evolve to alakazam)
5. And Charizard with good moves lol
(Not all there moves but there main ones)
Will hitmonlee ever have enough defence/HP to really last long enough in battle?
And will kadabra ever be good enough since he will never fully evolve?
Other than that i'm pretty satisfied with my pokemon so far.
Its a reasonable team, but at level 40, it's nearly impossible to beat the Elite 4 with. Train them until they're around level 55 to 60 and you should be manage quite easily.
I assume you don't want to change your Pokemon since you've already raised them to a fairly high level so the best way to defeat each member of the Elite 4 and the Champion would be like so:
Firstly, Lorelei. Use a mixture of Raichu's Electric type and Hitomlee's Fighting type move to beat her Ice type Pokemon. Her main Pokemon are her Slowpoke and Lapras, so preferably keep Raichu's Thunder for them.
Secondly, Bruno who uses Rock and Fighting Pokemon. Use Gyrados to beat his Onixs, and then Kadabra's Psychic type and Charizards Flying type moves, if it has any, to beat his Fighting Pokemon
Then we have Agatha, who uses a mixture of Ghost and Poison type Pokemon. Best use Kadabra for this as Psychic is super effective against Ghost and Poison, but it would be extremely vunerable to the Ghost type moves as well. Any Dark type move your Pokemon have would help as well. Other than that, a general beatdown on her Pokemon by Gyrados, Raichu and Charizard would work, but Snorlax and Hitmonlee are useless here.
Last of the Elite 4 is Lance. Use Raichu to take down his Gyrados, Make sure you have an Ice type move taught to Gyrados or Snorlax, both can learn them. Something like Blizzard or Ice Beam in order to beat his Dragon types.
Finally, there's the Champion, your rival. He always starts with Pidgeot so Raichu's Thunder will quickly finish it. After that, you will need your Gyrados to beat his Rhydon and Arcanine, Charizard to beat his Exeggutor, all your Pokemon to take down his Alakazam, and lastly Raichu again to beat his Blastoise.
A good strategy to use throughout all the battles would be to have Snorlax as "canon fodder". Send it out when your best Pokemon have fainted and use the time to heal them with Revives and Full Restores.
- What should my 6th pokemon for my team be? First off let me just say the reason why I'm still playing emerald is because I'm playing it on my iphone plus this is my first time playing in this generation. But anyways my team on my emerald so far is blaziken lvl 38, vibrava lvl 36, gyarados lvl 37, nuzleaf lvl 37, and manectric lvl 37… Just can't seem to figure out what I want as my 6th pokemon yet.
- Team iPhone or team BlackBerry? I have a BlackBerry Z10 but i want to know which you like and who made the switch? I know some of you are apple fanboys but for those who are or used to be BlackBerry fanboys would you go back if you knew about the BlackBerry10 devices? No negative comments.
