Best way to get IPhone power button fixed?

I have an iPhone 5 witch is out of warranty.A few months ago my power button started acting up. I have to press it 5 to 6 times for it to work and I have to press it really hard. I want to get this fixed. What is the best way? I have to Apple stores in my area but I have third party cell phone repair shops.

Third-party repaid shop is best. You can check out here and do it yourself: https://www.ifixit.com/...ment/10703

  • Will I have to pay a fee to get my iPhone 5 lock button fixed? My one year warranty ends in November but I have a little crack in between my flash and camera. It's right where my mic is but honesty it doesn't really affect anything on my phone. My main concern is my lock button. If I can't get a completely new product like some of my friends have gotten, can I just pay for the lock button portion? It said that it could repair that specific piece possibly. If so, how much is it usually?

  • Power button and home button doesn't work on iPhone 5C? Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
