Big cowlick and/or crown, or am I thinning?

I've paid attention to this for a few months now, it hasn't changed. This is a recent picture. No hair falling out and the hair isn't thin or whatever. But I'm concerned about how big this crown or cowlick is.
Also, you can't see it in this pic but to the right of the crown, there's scalp cleavage too - similar to the ones that are already shown.
In this specific picture, my hair is quite damp. Straight outta the shower and a quick towel dry. I also combed the hair so I can really identify what I'm dealing with.
This photo was taken on an iPhone. On a handheld mirror it doesn't look all that bad but when I observe it on my phone it definitely appears worse.
My hairstylist says it's the crown and direction in which the hair grows.
I'm 18 and an asian male. I've read that the hair of asian males tends to have prominent crowns and cowlicks due to its thickness and stubbornness along with lack of density.
Please help. I'd kill myself if I were bald.

My hair is growing in thick and dark and quite quickly. My hair used to be very slow growing, but arganrain products have really made a difference.
