Biking cross country, short film ideas?

That's beside the point. I think it would be cool to shoot a mini movie while biking. Maybe 60second clips, like the movie

Some ideas I had we're a comedy, that someone is following me, and at the end just gives me my wallet back.
Another idea is that when we're flying to Canada, there's some kind of outbreak. And while we're biking, have it seem like everyone is gone.
Maybe a futuristic addition, like I'm talking to my iPhone, Siri.
I'm just spitballing now. Any ideas?

- New Iphone short battery life? I just got a brand new iPhone 4S about I week ago… I absolutely love it… But the battery life is ridiculous. It lasts about 2 hours of continuous use and apple says it should last 8. The phone is brand new and has AT&T, if that makes a difference.
- Is this a feasable way to film? Giving myself a project of creating a film piece for uni that must last at least 1 hour… The twist is that I'm only allowed to use a non-conventional method of filiming or in other words I can only use Iphone/Ipod touch or a smartphone camera. My plot doesn't require any special effects or camera "trickery".Is this "doable"
- Is there a cross platform voice calling app? Does anyone know of any cross platform (working on BlackBerry and iPhone) voice calling apps that allow calls for free? Skype is not available on BlackBerry and all other call apps aren't free. I have also tried Whatsapp, ooVoo, Hoiio.
- Is FUJIFILM FINEPIX S4300 worth shooting my short film on? I thought I was able to buy something a bit better; but due to financial reasons, I do not think that I can buy a camera. I'm planning to use my iPHONE for sound--have done it before for best projects and it worked. But as for camera quality, recommend the FUJIFILM?
