Blackout restriction MLB tv?

Ok so I wanna watch the Yankee game and that's the only game it WON't let me watch it says a blackout restriction I'm watching on my iPhone. How to fix this? It's the only game I can't watch i don't know why Everytime I try it beer works for the Yankees I can watch any team BUT the Yankees can I fix it?

I'm assuming you live in New York, yes? There are blackout restrictions on MLBTV for the local team in any state. For example, I live in the Bay Area, CA and MLBTV won't let me watch the Giants or the A's.

And it doesn't matter whether the Yankees are playing at home or are away. The games are blacked out regardless.

My best guess, is that MLBTV can't take away viewers from local TV networks that broadcast the game. The local networks need more viewers to generate enough revenue to run.

I think there are some people online who say they can bypass the restriction. I don't know what they do, but I've found other websites online that stream baseball games through the local network.

You can use a VPN to bypass any and all blackouts. This will cost you an additional fee of about $6 a month. Here in San Diego many games are blacked out that I'm not able to get with any cable package. The blackout rules were written decades ago by the local sports broadcasters long before these out of market packages were available.
