Bought a iphone 5s from a guy, i think it was stolen?
Basically i bought a iphone 5s from a guy for $200 he said the icloud was unlocked but when i got home and checked it was locked. The email didn't match his information i tried contacting him but i keep getting ignored. Should i email the email address in the phone? Would that person want his phone back if it was stolen? I'm stuck on what i should do.
Ok if it still has contacts on the phone, ring one of the numbers, at an appropriate time lol, and just say i bought a phone from 'a guy' and is this phone stolen? Mention you spend $200 they might give a little bit of ure money back if it is, thanks bye, merry christmas.
You should take it into a police station and explain what happened. Don't mess with this kind of stuff you can get in alot of trouble.
You've been scammed. The guy basically sold you a stolen unit and it's iCloud locked. Now, you need to get the phone unlocked and it's quite a hassle. If you need help with it, feel free to mail me.
