Brand new HTC One or a refurbished iPhone 5S?

I have a brand new HTC One with Verizon which has had some wired reception issues. It works fine but the 4G LTE icon pops up on the screen for no reason from time to time, or when the mobile data is OFF, I could still have access to the My Verizon app and do all kinda things, which is very strange.

I wanted to try another device and now, Verizon is making an "exception" for me and is giving me two options (I'm beyond the 14-day window btw). Option one: replace this phone with a refurbished iPhone 5S for the same price, Option two: get a new iPhone 5S and pay the difference. My HTC One was basically free so I would have to pay sth like $200 for an iPhone. Let's say I want to choose one of these options. Could you let me know me the pros and cons of each and which one would you choose?

  • Will a refurbished iPhone 6 plus work and look the same as a new one? I'm due to upgrade my phone (currently using iPhone 5) on O2. I looked on the iPhone 6 and 6 plus options, and I really wanted a 6 plus. The only thing is a new one is really expensive per month, almost £50. But a refurbished one is only around £35 per month. I'm going to be using this phone for 2 years and I don't want to have issues with it, will it come like a new phone (in sealed packaging, with the charger etc)? And look and work like a new phone?
  • Which one should i get, htc one mini or iphone 4s? So i'm looking for a new phone and i can't decide between htc one mini or iphone 4s. Which one is better and will last longer? And also i have a lot of music so how much can the htc one mini hold? Is it 8gb or 16gb?
  • Which one is better: iphone 5s, HTC One, or Galaxy s4? My contract just expired, which means that I'm in the market for a new phone. I'm stuck between the new iphone that was released today and the HTC One. I leaning away from the Galaxy s4, mainly because of its lower ratings and many features that i will not be using.So, in your opinion, which is better: the One or the 5s? Both are gorgeous phones. I currently have an iphone 4s, so I'm am familiar with the iOS operating system. In your opinion, which is better: iOS or Andriod?
  • Upcoming iPhone 5S or HTC One? Which one would you get? I'm confused between the two. I have to get a new phone because my S4 has a lot of problems, so I will be changing my phone in October. Which one would you suggest?
