Broke iphone 5, how much will a new one cost?

Got a 16GB iphone 5 a month ago, and broke due to water damge. It is on a 2-year contract with AT&T. Is a new phone going to cost $200 or $700?

$700, they aren't paying for another one for you until your contract is up, then you can extend it.

If it still has warranty you can send it to Apple and fix it, but it will cost you money. You can't get it free because water does not count in warranty. If you want a brand new you have to pay full retail price which is $699+Tax.
