Broke my new iphone 5, how much will a new one cost?
Got a 16GB iphone 5 a month ago, and broke due to water damge. It is on a 2-year contract with AT&T. Is a new phone going to cost $200 or $700?

You will need to go to the AT&T store. It should be 200$ but you might have to pay a replacement fee. Hope this helps and good luck.

$700. The $200 pricing is only for upgrades and new contracts, or if you bought the AT&T insurance plan (in which there would be a $200 deductible for a replacement phone)
First be smart. You have apple care. Apple care is still valid. Make a genius bar appointment and they should assist and fix it for you for a much lower price. This person above is giving you the ATT market side.
Make an Appointment with your local Apple store, then tell them it was your first time, they might give you a brand new free one or they will charge you about $90 or higher. This is what you should do!
