Broken iPhone. How can I fix it?

I dropped my iPhone 4 earlier today and it won't turn on. It's totally unresponsive unless it's plugged into the charger, when it's plugged in it boots up then goes to a screen where it says "slide to set up" and to plug into iTunes in order to set it up. Also it has no service. And when I plug it into my computer it doesn't even turn on, it just gets stuck on the apple boot logo. I've tried hard rebooting it and stuff, but it's just totally unresponsive. The repair for an iPhone 4 is like $150 and upgrading to a 4s is only like $100, so I thought I could just do that, but I'm afraid I won't be able to transfer all my contacts and pictures and apps and stuff from my old phone to the new one because I never backed it up on iTunes or iCloud or anything. Is there anything I can do?

The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
  • My iphone's aux in is broken how can i fix it? No matter what headphones i use on my phone, the sound is all messed up. I went to the apple store and they said nothing can fix it, but when i plug my phone into a speaker made for iphones via the ipod connector, i get normal sound. Is there any cable thats aux in to the "apple connector" so i can use my headphones?
