Buy current iPhone or wait for the next one (iphone5s)?

Getting an iPhone for my birthday, my dad said that either i get one now or wait for the next one
The next iPhone is rumoured to come out in oct nov

There should be a new iphone coming out in 1-2 months, if i were you i would wait for it to come out and then compare it, when the new iphone comes out the price of the current one will be lowered so if the new one isn't that much better then you may as well just buy the old one with the cheaper price once you've compared them, if that makes sense?

  • Should I get the HTC One or wait until the next iPhone is released? I have the Galaxy S4 but its not working so I have to get another phone. I should wait for the next iPhone and then decide between the two, right? I wouldn't be without a phone because I have a BlackBerry so I'm using that. There's some problem in its software, so I don't want to spend money on getting it fixed. Its not on warranty. I can wait for the iPhone. Should I wait? I'll be getting my new phone in October anyway. So I'll have to wait for it either way.
  • Should i buy the iphone 8 plus/X next month or wait for the next release which is in September 2018? I'm thinking of getting a new iphone next month but my dad suggested i wait for the new ones in September, what do you guys think and if you think i should get one of the current iphones which should i get the 8 plus or the X?
  • Should I buy the iPhone 5 or wait for the next one? I have made up my mind that i want an iPhone and no other phone so please do no recommend anything else. Next iPhone is rumoured that it might come out in oct-nov
  • Should i buy iphone5s or s4 or wait until s5? We're in 2013/12/29 which is nearly 2014 and i was wondering if i bought the s4 i might regret it because the release of the s5 and if i bought the iphone5s i might not feel AS HAPPY as owning thhe s5 and the problem is that i don't HAVE any phone i can't decide about waiting for 90 days or purchase the s4 or iphone5s
