Can a conservative explain how exactly is google a monopoly?

I can use google right now, look up bing, and use that instead. I don't even need to use google chrome. I can sell my android phone and buy an iphone right now. I can use vimeo or twitch instead of youtube. Google doesn't fit any definition of monopoly except the new one cons invented where any successful left leaning company is a monopoly that needs to be broken up and handed to conservatives.

It is

You don't know what a monopoly is do you? Have you ever been to school? Read a book? Until then keep quiet and come back when you can answer.

But you "Google" Bing. Right?

No jews?

Don't worry we're breaking up right leaning local companies and absorbing them into the left.

Based on US anti-trust laws, what constitutes a monopoly is not defined.

No company knows if it has a monopoly until a judge says they have one. This is why some constitutional lawyers allege that these laws violate the ban on ex post facto laws… Because no one can know if they've broken those laws until after they broke them.

Just ask Microsoft. Microsoft was charged under anti-trust laws even though Apple was its competitor and readily available on the market.

To be targeted as a monopoly, a company does not need to be a literally monopoly (i.e. No other competitors exist in the market). It only has to operate as a functional monopoly. Just as "Ma Bell" was a synonym for phone company in the 1980s… Google is now a synonym for internet search. When a company his that level of control over it's market, it needs to take anti-trust legislation seriously.

They can

To be considered a monopoly a company has to own nearly all of the market share in a certain industry. Google owns nearly 90% of its industry and thus does qualify as a monopoly.
