Can a Verizon iPhone be switched to Sprint service?
I found a phone on ebay that's an iPhone, but it says it's a verizon phone. I have sprint and I was wondering if I buy this phone will I be able to keep my current number and sprint plan?
Believe so. An iPhone is an iPhone. You'd just need to register it with AT&T. I'd call AT&T customer service and ask them about it.
More than likely. Verizon and Sprint might utilize the same CDMA technology. If they do not, then you will need to unlock the phone.
Depends on the which iPhone. The 4S can be (just swap the micro-SIM card). The 3G, 3GS and the original iPhone can't be switched (but these phones where not avaliable from Verizon).
- Switched Iphones and now no service? Hi, so i recently was given an Iphone 4 from a friend (the exact same kind as my previous one) and I switched the sim card into the new phone and now I get no service. A few times I also got "Invalid Sim" instead. I thought that this was meant to be really easy to switch the Sim card but apperently not. I'm using rogers, if anyone knows an easy fix to this problem that would be greatly appreciated.Id rather not have to drive out to a Rogers store to get this fixed.
